SIGNS THAT YOUR SPOUSE IS CHEATING

A lot of people believe that their spouse would never cheat on them. Unfortunately, statistics show us that most people are incorrect.

There are some signs that can help you figure out if your spouse or significant other is cheating, or about to cheat.

1) Starts to exercise and/or eat healthy. Can someone who is not cheating begin to care about their looks? Absolutely. However, this is just one of the signs. Compiled with some of the other signs listed below, this can be just another sign that he/she is cheating.

2) Change with their wardrobe (even underwear). People begin to change their appearance to be attractive to the person they are interested in. Again, just like if they start to exercise and/or eat healthy, this is okay if it is the only thing that is changing. But, if this is just another “yes” to this list, take note.

3) Starts to work late. If your spouse usually never worked late and is starting to work extended hours, you need to be cautious. Whether or not they are cheating, there is a reason why your spouse does not want to come home. If they are not cheating, perhaps there is tension at home that makes them not want to come home. This can lead to your spouse going out with friends- just for a drink. Even if it is not their intention to “look to cheat”, beware that this simple outing, compiled with not wanting to go home, can lead to cheating.

4) Picks fights. If your spouse begins to pick fights with you, if could be that they are trying to justify cheating on you. Try not to be lead into this and allow them to justify this in their head (although you are not wrong, fighting only makes them believe they are not a horrible person for cheating on you.)

5) Is overly romantic. Sure, everyone wants flowers and sweet cards, perhaps even jewelry for no reason. However, this is also a possible sign of a cheater. They begin to feel guilty and try to make you happy with some “surprise” so that you think you are the “luckiest person in the world”.

6) Lies. Do you find information after the fact that a signification other lied to you- especially not relevant information. One example could be that they told you they ate lunch at one place instead of another. There is some reason why they lied to you. Perhaps it is because someone you know thought that they saw your husband there, and when if comes up in conversation, you correct them and say it could not have been him because he was at a different restaurant. Lies happen for a reason. If you are being lied to, call him out on it. Make him explain why he said one thing when it turned out to be a lie.

Intuition is a great internal tool. If you suspect it, get to the bottom of it. Don’t let your feelings be dismissed.
